We are pleased to share information about our Academic and Family Health Centers. Faculty members from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine serve as both clinicians and managers of these centers, resulting in the delivery of both competent and compassionate care. We are board certified physicians who are passionate about delivering quality care, as well as teaching future generation of physicians. As an academic institution we remain abreast of the latest medical discoveries and techniques, and use this knowledge and expertise to provide cutting edge clinical care.

What is Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine?
NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine physicians use a set of hands-on techniques known as osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) to treat a variety of conditions. This includes back pain, musculoskeletal issues, Parkinson’s disease, and many other ailments. OMM incorporates a holistic approach, viewing the body as a self-healing structure with interconnected systems and functions dependent upon each other for optimal health.
